My Journey As a little girl, I loved using my imagination. I dreamed of singing alongside Big Bird, Bert & Ernie, Mr. Snuffleupagus, Oscar, and all my favorite Sesame Street friends. Out of everyone, Cookie Monster was always my favorite, we both shared a love for cookies!Long before I became an author, I enjoyed writing poems, making up funny songs, and creating little stories about everything around me. Whether it was trees, animals, the neighborhood treehouse, or even the lady who baked the most delicious pound cakes, I found inspiration everywhere.Those childhood moments sparked a lifelong love of storytelling that continues to inspire every book I write today. I truly believe every child has a hero inside them just waiting for the chance to shine. That’s why I create stories that encourage children to dream big, believe in themselves, laugh often, and discover the wonderful things they’re capable of achieving. If one of my books helps a child smile, imagine, or feel a little more confident, then I’ve accomplished exactly what I hoped to do.
